In order to use the service provided by Beyond The Horizons (also referred to as us or we), we ask that you read and agree with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this privacy policy, or our terms of use, we ask that you do not use the service offered here.

Any e-mail address and other personal information provided when contacting us, using the contact form, or submitting for membership are kept in strict confidence by Beyond The Horizons and not shared with any third parties. We will not sell any addresses to mailing lists and you will get no unsolicited e-mails. Any e-mails you will receive from us after contacting us would be replies to your questions, comments or requests you make by filling in our form. Personal information obtained when submitting for membership will be stored offline and not shared with any third parties. E-mails will be sent with the purpose of getting memberships purchased and registered. There will also be follow-ups when the membership is about to expire to see if further membership is wanted. Additionally, any awards etc posted after a membership has expired will be e-mailed to the address submitted when joining. You will not get any unsolicited e-mails.

Any personal information provided may be used by Beyond The Horizons when serious abuse of the service provided has occurred. Such abuse is theft, redistribution, selling or in any other way a disregard of our terms of use.

When purchasing membership, PayPal will provide us with limited information about the buyer, such as the buyer's name, and we will not share the information obtained through PayPal with any third parties. Please read and agree to PayPal's user agreement and privacy policy prior to using their service. All information we obtain from purchases will be kept in strict confidence.

In the memberships area there is an option of having the email address visible. We strongly recommend that you do not use this feature and rather use the private message option to contact other members. We cannot control the actions of members and even though agreeing to not send spam to other members or to the forum when joining, some may abuse this service. If the email option in the forum is being abused, please contact us and we will deal with the matter. Anyone caught redistributing email addresses, selling email addresses or continuously spamming other members will have their memberships terminated and no refunds given.

Beyond The Horizons reserves the rights to modify and update this Privacy Policy without prior notice. Any major changes to our Privacy Policy will be posted on our homepage prior to changes being effective.
