Terms of Use

In order to use the service provided by Beyond The Horizons (also referred to as us or we), there are certain terms of use that the user (you) must follow. If you do not agree to these terms of use, or our privacy policy, we ask that you do not use the service offered here.

You may under no circumstances resell, redistribute or include in collections any of the web pages, information, codes, tutorials, tips and tricks, samples, images or anything else found at Beyond The Horizons in pieces or as a whole. All the designs uploaded to this site have been designed by Beyond The Horizons, unless otherwise stated, and you may not under any circumstances claim that any of this has been made by you. The graphics used to create this site may not be used on any other site than beyondthehorizons.net, unless you have explicit permission. Nothing from this site is to be copy and pasted elsewhere and be used by anyone other than Beyond The Horizons. Everything has been created by Beyond The Horizons, unless otherwise stated.

Beyond The Horizons does not claim to own the copyrights to the all images used to create the pages featured on this site. We have purchased collections of images and have permission to use these for the designs throughout the site. Please do not redistribute or sell any of these images as is, cropped, altered, traced or tubed.

Samples

• All our samples have been provided for you to get a preview and taste of what is in the membership area of this site. The information, codes and tutorials provided are not to be copied, sold, redistributed, altered or in any way displayed or offered elsewhere.
• You must provide a link back on each page you have made using our background codes from this section. It may be a text link or a link embedded in an image as you wish and it must go to our homepage and no other page(s).
• No support will be provided for any of the sections in the samples area. If help or support is needed or wanted, one must join the site and contact us or post a message in the forum in the members area. This is because these samples are only meant to be a taste of what one will have access to after purchasing a membership here.

Memberships

• When submitting for membership, one must choose yes to agree to our terms of use and that these will be followed. If this is not done, the submission for membership will not be accepted. There will be no exceptions made. Failure to follow the terms of use stipulated may lead to termination of membership depending on the degree of the offence. Each section in the members area will have either a terms of use or a user agreement that must be agreed to before using the service offered. The basics of these terms of use are covered on this page, but they will be repeated in the different sections and when entering as a member you have already agreed to follow them. There is nothing in those terms of use that won't have been stated here, but they are more clarifying and descriptive.
• You may not offer or sell the information, codes, images, tips and tricks, tutorials, awards, samples, pages or anything else found in the memberships sections altered, cropped, traced, tubed or in any other shape or form passing on what is offered or shown at Beyond The Horizons, in parts or as a whole. You may not include anything found at this site in any collections. Finished creations (fully coloured) made from the outlines may be used for profit when making signatures or adoptables. The images offered for creating pages in the webworks section in the members area are all by Beyond The Horizons and we hold the copyright on these. These images are meant for learning purposes only and are not to be redistributed or sold in any forms of web sets, tubes, linkware, cropped or any other way.
• Each membership to the site is a personal membership. You may not share your log in information with anyone may it be relatives, friends and others. A membership is for one person and one person only. Others wanting to join to look around to read information, do challenges or use our codes or downloadable items will have to purchase a membership to the site, too. Anyone found letting others use their membership to log into our site will have their membership terminated. No refunds will be made.
• You must provide a link back on each particular page when using any of the following provided by Beyond The Horizons: i. downloadable items, ii. webworks images, iii. awards received. The links are to lead to our homepage at http://beyondthehorizons.net, and no other page. Linking to pages or sections in the memberships area is not permitted and they will not work for non members. Links may of course be given for other things than those required. You may use a text link, one of the linking tags we have provided (after saving to your computer and uploading from there) or use your own image.
• As nothing is allowed to redistributed, passed on or in any shape or form be used elsewhere, the only way to show someone what is offered here is to tell them to join. This goes for any written information, tutorials, codes or anything else found in the memberships area. Should anyone ask you for one of our codes (be it for linkware or any other purpose), ask how you achieved a result from following our tutorials etc, then please give them the link to Beyond The Horizons and suggest that they should consider joining. Special terms for the outlines below.
• The outlines are not to be offered as is or slightly altered. You may only offer them, both profit and not, after creating a signature or adoption with the finished coloured image. You may mix and match the outlines (with ones from other sites as well if they allow it) to create your own finished graphics as long as they are fully coloured. You may add to the outlines, but not remove anything. You may not offer these images as tubes or clip art images online, or use them for any offline purposes. You may not use these images to write your own tutorials for how to colour them etc.
• Creations posted by other members in the forum either directly on the forum or linked to are not to be taken, unless permission for such actions has been granted by the creator. Please respect each of the other members' terms of use and do not help yourself to what they have posted on our boards for showing off, comments or any other reason.
• No refunds will be made for any early termination of memberships due to abuse made by the member, may it be abuse of the service, members or site administration. A refund may only be discussed when significant mistakes have been made by Beyond The Horizons and there is no other way of correcting the mistake. If you change your mind and do not wish to be a member after all, or if what you for some reason assumed would be in the memberships area is not to be found, no refunds will be made.

Beyond The Horizons reserve the right to delete the site at any time without warning. If such an action is taken, no refunds will be made. Lifetime memberships mean lifetime of the site, and all different kinds of membership is irrelevant if the site would disappear. We also reserve the right to reject any application for membership at any time for whatever reason and are not required to provide a reason for such a decision. Any rejection will be made before a member is requested to pay for the membership and there will therefore not be need for any forms of refund as no purchase has been made.

Our contact form may be used to ask questions about the terms of use, as well as any questions regarding our samples, memberships or things that you may want clarified before signing up.

Please note that Beyond The Horizons holds the right to modify or change these terms of use at any time without prior notice. When significant changes are made to these terms of use, a notice will be posted on the homepage.
